FAMILY VISIT VISA REQUIREMENTS

(The sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for a visa authorization through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once the request is granted, the Ministry of foreign Affairs will send the authorization directly to the Consulate your sponsor must provide you with THE VISA SLIP)

Please Submit Requirements:

1- A) a copy of the visa authorization slip
b) The civil registration number (computer number) or iqama number of the sponsor and either the application number or visa authorization number.

2-Visa Application Form – please scroll up to get this from (Typed out or block letter written) & two recent passport size photographs (must write name on back) background plain white.

3-A valid passport for at least six months from the application date and must have the place of birth and two empty pages side by side (Original & one copy). If family accompanying on the same passport, pictures and names of all members must be added on the passport by the proper legal authorities. (Canadian nationals must have separate passports even children)

4-Proof of relationship to the sponsor (notarized Copy of a marriage certificate for a wife, notarized copy of a birth certificate for a child indicating name of parents).

5- Non-Canadian applicants must submit a valid residency permit (permanent resident card). (Send only copy of front and back of the PR card)

6- Copy of POLIO immunization record for children under the age of 15

7-Copy of Residency permits of the sponsor (IQAMA) and a Letter from the sponsor indicating the authorization number, the date and the names of applicants.

8- A notarized letter of permission from the absent parent is required If one parent is travelling alone with minor children

9-For Visit visa Money order or certified cheque in the amount of $88.00 payable to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia

10-A copy of confirmed reservations must be presented along with the application (itinerary)

11- Visa validity starts from date of issue and period of stay from the date you enter Saudi Arabia

12- Visa validity is 3 months from date if issue.

EMPLOYMENT VISA REQUIREMENTS

The sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for a visa authorization through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once the request is granted, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send the authorization directly to the Consulate. Your sponsor must provide you with a copy of THE VISA SLIP.

2. The passport validity should correspond with the duration of the contract, and include the place of birth and two blank pages side by side. (Original Only)

3. An original letter of sponsorship from the Saudi company indicating the authorization number, the date, the job title and certified by a Saudi Chamber of Commerce and the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

4. A copy of the work contract. Copy of Saudi company’s registration certificate.

5. Canadian Degree / Diploma , transcripts and letter(s) of experience from previous employers certified by The Department of Foreign Affairs of Canada: Tel. (613) 995-0119 (two copies certified by the issuing institution and by a notary as well as authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs of Canada. Written authorization from the applicant allowing the consulate to verify the information with the institutions.

6. Foreign Degrees must be certified by the Saudi Embassy in the country of issue.

7. Completed medical report form and all test results. The report certified by college of physicians of the issuing province (Original Only). You MUST confirm with your doctor that you have all required test results INCLUDING (HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C - please attach these result pages to the back of the medical report). If any of the 4 results are positive+, your doctor must provide a typed explanation of why they are positive.

9. If applicant previously worked in Saudi Arabia, a letter of release must be attached. (Original & one copy)

10. Non-Canadian applicants must submit a copy of valid residency permit (permanent resident card). (Send only copy of front and back of the PR card).

11. Age of employment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: applicants must be over 22 years.

12. A money order of $22.00 (Can. Dollars) payable to The Embassy of Saudi Arabia. (Payment separate for each applicant).

13. Visa validity is 3 months from date of issue.

14. A photocopy confirmed airlines reservations must be submitted along with the application.

BUSINESS VISAS REQUIREMENTS

BUSINESS VISAS (with a letter of invitation)

This type of visa is permitted only to an applicant who works for a company registered in Canada, which is involved in a business relationship with a company in Saudi Arabia and wants to represent the Canadian company.

Please Submit Requirements:

1. An original AND a photocopy of the applicant's passport. It must also be valid for at least six months from the application date and include the place of birth and two side by side blank pages.

2. Visa Application Form – please scroll up to get this from (Typed out or hand written in block letters).

3. Two recent (4x6 cm) photographs on a plain white background (write name on back).

4. Non-Canadian applicants must submit a copy of their valid residency permit (permanent resident card). (Send only copy of front and back of the PR card).

5. A photocopy of applicant's confirmed airlines reservation must be submitted.

If you are one of the following:
  1. NOT representing a Canadian company.
  2. An independent expert / consultant.

Then this is the only type of visa you are allowed to apply for.

6. Non-Canadian applicants must submit a copy of valid residency permit (permanent resident card). (Send only copy of front and back of the PR card).

7. Fees payable to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. (payment separate for each applicant):
    a. For single entry: Money order in the amount of $88.00 (Can. Dollars)
    b. For multiple entries: two money orders in the amount of 88.00 and 132.00 (total of $220.00). (Can. Dollars).

SHORT TERM VISIT WORK VISA REQUIREMENTS

This visa applies to an applicant who has a short term work contract with a Saudi partner.

The sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for a visa authorization through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once the application is approved, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send the authorization directly to the Consular Section. The sponsor must provide the applicant with a copy of the visa slip.

• A valid passport for six months at least from the application date, including the place of birth and two blank pages side by side. (Original Only).

• Two recent (4 x 6 cm) photographs taken against a plain white background. (Name written on the back).

• A letter addressed to the Consular Section from the applicant’s firm signed and stamped, including information about the applicant and purpose of the trip.

• Non-Canadian applicants must submit a copy of valid residency permit (permanent resident card). (Send only copy of front and back of the PR card).

• A copy of a work contract.

• A copy of the applicant's degree.

• A letter stating 2 years work experience.

• A photocopy of confirmed airlines reservation must be submitted.

INVESTOR VISAS REQUIREMENTS

The sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for a visa authorization through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once the request is granted, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send the authorization directly to the Consulate. The sponsor must provide the applicant with the authorization date and number. The applicant must verify that his authorization number has been received by the consular section. (KINDLY PROVIDE THE VISA SLIP).

2. A valid passport for 2 years at least from the application date, including the place of birth and two blank pages side by side. (Original Only).

3. Three (3) recent passport size photographs (4 cm x 6 cm) taken against a plain white background attached to the application form and the medical form.

4. Copy of investor's status certificate from SAGIA.

5. Completed medical report form and all test results. The report certified by college of physicians of the issuing province (Original Only). You MUST confirm with your doctor that you have all required test results INCLUDING (HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C - please attach these result pages to the back of the medical report). If any of the 4 results are positive+, your doctor must provide a typed explanation of why they are positive.

RESIDENCY VISAS REQUIREMENTS

9. For residency visa applicants under the age of 15 old, must provide POLIO immunization record.

10. Money order in the amount of $22.00 (Can. Dollars) payable to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. Visa validity is 3 months from date of issue.

11. A copy of airline reservation must be submitted along with the application.

RESIDENCY FOR NEWBORN REQUIREMENTS

Please Submit Requirements:

1. Visa Application Form – please scroll up to get this from: Visa application form filled out completely and accurately.

2. Original Canadian passport valid at least for six months (separate passport for the newborn).

3. Original and one copy of the birth certificate indicating the names of the mother and the father.

4. Copy of the residency permit (IQAMA) of both parents.

5. Letter from the Saudi sponsor certified by a Saudi Chamber of Commerce confirming the employment of either parent, job title, residency permit number and expiry date, and indicating that the sponsor has no objection child residing in Saudi Arabia. (we suggest that you obtain visa authorization for the newborn as this will secure issuance of the visa)

6. Covering letter requesting the visa from the Consular Section.

7. Passport of the mother and one copy.

8. Copy of the father's passport.

9. Two (4 x 6 cm) photographs of the child.

10. Money order of $22.00 (Can. Dollars) payable to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia.

STUDENT VISAS REQUIREMENTS

2. A valid passport for 1 year at least from the application date including the place of birth (Original & one copy).

3. Three (3) recent passport size (4 cm x 6 cm) photographs stapled on the application format of medical form.

4. Letter of Sponsorship from the Saudi sponsor (university) certified by the university & indicating the authorization number & the date.

5. Degree/ Diploma , transcripts all certified by The Department of Foreign Affairs of Canada Tel: (613) 995-0119 (two authenticated copies from The Department of Foreign Affairs of Canada)

6. Completed medical report form and all test results. The report certified by college of physicians of the issuing province (Original Only). You MUST confirm with your doctor that you have all required test results INCLUDING (HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C - please attach these result pages to the back of the medical report). If any of the 4 results are positive+, your doctor must provide a typed explanation of why they are positive.

TRANSIT VISAS REQUIREMENTS

N. B. The transit visa allows its holder to enter Saudi Arabia and to stay between 12 and 72 hours only to connect with another flight leaving to another destination and does not entitle the holder to leave the airport

If you are approved, please submit:

2. Two recent (4x6 cm) photographs stapled to the application.

3. A passport valid for six months at least from the application date.
    • Those with multiple nationalities must apply on their Canadian passport.(Send the original passport and one photocopy)
    • If family members are on the same passport, their pictures and names must be added to the passport by the proper legal authorities. Canadian citizens must all have separate passports EVEN FOR CHILDREN)

4. An airline ticket with confirmed reservations in and out of the Kingdom. (Original ticket and one photocopy)

5. Ladies and children must be accompanied by a male relative (Mahram). The Mahram must be traveling on the same flight as the lady or child. Proof of relationship is required (a marriage certificate for a wife, a birth certificate for a child indicating the names of both parents). (Send the original proof and one photocopy)

6. Non-Canadian applicants must submit a valid residency permit (permanent resident card). (Send only copy of front and back of the PR card)

7. Visa for the country of next destination after Saudi Arabia affixed on passport.

8. Letter of visa request from Saudi Arabian Airlines.

EXIT RE-ENTRY VISA REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST APPLY TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE EXPIRY DATE OF YOUR EXIT RE-ENTRY VISA.

Please Submit Requirements:

1. Visa Application Form – please scroll up to get this from: (Typed out or block letter written).

2. Original AND a photocopy of the applicant's passport. It must also be valid for at least six months from the application date and include the place of birth and two side by side blank pages.

3. A certificate print out issued by the passport office TRAVEL SECTION in Saudi Arabia which includes information about the latest exit re-entry visa issued to you.

4. Copy of confirmed reservations must be presented along with the application (itinerary) (must show date of entry to the Kingdom).

5. Passport must show the stamp of a valid residency permit if not Copy of the residency permit of the spouse or parents (IQAMA) original and one copy. Must also provide copy of the exit r-entry visa.

6. A fax copy of the letter from the company sponsoring revealing details of years of employment, job title, residency permit issuance and validity.

7. For students & accompanying mothers a declaration of enrollment from the school or university. If your stay outside the Kingdom exceeded 12 months you must obtain an authorization from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the kingdom (include copy of the visa slip).

8. In case of a work residence and if your length of stay out side the kingdom exceeded 7 months you must obtain an authorization from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the kingdom (include copy of the visa slip).

9. A covering letter requesting the extension and the expected date of return to Saudi Arabia.
